Behind BasketVibe
I'm Łukasz, a solo developer building BasketVibe on my own. I've spent 20 years in the IT industry across engineering, management, and architecture roles at multinational companies, and I used to lead IT communities myself. I'm also a former Charazay player, and that nostalgia is honestly the whole reason this exists — I missed that kind of game and wanted a modern version of it.
To be upfront about how it's built: I use AI for coding and design thinking — working through balance decisions, edge cases, and tradeoffs. But the actual game design — the skill system, training curves, the stamina/fatigue model, tactics, transfer economy, and the match engine that ties it all together — is mine, built and rebalanced by hand with strong support from the growing BasketVibe community.
BasketVibe is fully free and will never go pay-to-win. The roadmap is community-first: features like daily friendly games and light/dark mode shipped because players asked for them on our Discord.
